Kerry Mikkelsen
DVM
Born and raised in Southern California, Kerry earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine at Oregon State University, where she graduated in 2000. Shortly after completing veterinary school, Kerry joined Tucker Road Animal Hospital, where she’s been a dedicated member of the team since May 2000.
Kerry's favorite part of her job is undoubtedly the puppy and kitten appointments, where she gets to work with young animals and help ensure they start their lives on the right paw. Outside of the office, she loves to spend her time in the great outdoors, whether hiking, trail running, stand-up paddle boarding, cross-country skiing, or tending to her garden.
A fun fact about Kerry: she’s been collecting photos of herself with puppies at work for years, with plans to create a photo collage to commemorate her time at Tucker Road Animal Hospital when she retires.
