Julie Caldwell

Dr. Julie Caldwell was born and raised in Connecticut. After high school, she attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where she studied Biology—though she’ll tell you she speaks Spanish much better than French!
Since college, Dr. Caldwell and her husband have moved many times, living in Idaho (twice!), Massachusetts, Maine, British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University and still holds a special place in her heart for the rolling hills and natural beauty of the Palouse.
What Dr. Caldwell values most about owning Tucker Road Animal Hospital and serving as a veterinarian in the Gorge are the meaningful relationships she’s built with clients, their pets, and the amazing team she works with. She believes that strong, trusting connections are the foundation of great care and contribute to healthier, happier pets.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Caldwell loves recreating with her family and friends. You’ll often find her mountain biking, skiing, or falling off her wing board into the river. She and her husband also stay busy wrangling their energetic boys, who often “help” around the clinic.
